In south Africa, one in 4 men had committed rape. Of 92 young people convicted of involvement in gang rape in London, 66 were black or mixed race. jay bee:some studies are finally being done on such issues. It is no secret among Africans that these things happen, but nothing is ever said about them. They are swept under the rug and we pretend they do not happen, yet there are many affected by this. As the article mentioned, there are very limited resources to help both the the victims and the perpertrators. |

As the article mentioned, there are very limited resources to help both the the victims and the perpertrators.Out of curiosity, why would you want to help the perpetrators of rape? |

Seun: The 'why' is debatable but in some cases they are 'helped' by sending them from prison to a Forensic Psychiatry medium secure unit where they are 'treated' with drugs and stuff! |
