January 2016 salaries of federal universities were paid yesterday night around 9.30pm. That is 4th February. It will be so nice in this era of democracy if the government will carry people along by giving reasons promptly when delays are anticipated. Keeping mum like it has happened these past few days cannot help the government of the day at all.
Thank God l got my alert last night hope others are getting. Thanks

My own Federal University have not been paid as at this Friday(5th) morning and we are even hearing rumor that it will not be a full payment as the Federal Government has released insufficient fund for salary payment

You guys should relax, core ministries are now being paid. I got mine today and I expect everybody to be paid latest by Monday.

If there is any attempted attempt to cut any university's academic staff salary based on the flimsy excuse of insufficient fund, I think ASUU should not wait for any congress before calling for an industrial action sad angry smiley

its sad. No teaching hospital staff has been paid as at now with findings. But who told you last week it will be paid this week...

The point is, January salaries for federal workers have been paid. All workers may not get their alerts today due to delays from banks so, that's why I said latest by Monday, all workers should have been paid.
