Ship hijack case alleged to have been masterminded by the pro-biafran supporters seem to be having a contrary claim.
Two prominent Pro-Biafran groups have denied being responsible for the ship hijack.
The groups had been accused of hijacking the ship alongside some foreign nationals, demanding for the release of their leader Nnamdi Kanu.
The merchant ship which was said to have been hijacked along the Bakassi Peninsula, a region disagreed upon between Cameroun and Nigeria part of which was ceded to Cameroun during the Obasanjo administration.
The ship hijack was said to have taken place on Friday. A spokesperson called General Ben allegedly gave a deadline of 31 days to the Federal Government of Nigeria within which it must release their leader Nnamdi Kanu.
General Ben warned that should the government fail to yield to his instructions within the stipulated time, they will have no option than to blow off the ship with the crew on-board.
