The elaborateness of a wedding does not guarantee the success of marriage. If they like let them construct the world trade center towers as their wedding cake. Wedding is just one-day ceremony which is an initiation into marriage, while marriage is days after wedding.
Why are we laying much emphasis on wedding instead of the real business? White people don't waste this kind of time and money in wedding. Don't they watch the Western wedding? When Wayne Rooney wedded in Italy some years back, it wasn't like this. Don't they watch Indian movies eg. 'Destiny' to see how the Indians do their wedding?
Anyway, that is their problem, wishing them happy married life and not wedded life.

Really? Is this how our brains work in this country and we're complaining we have a dysfunctional society? What is the cut-off asset value a groom's family and bride's family should have for them to be compatible for marriage? Please I want to know. Our whole lives in this country have now been denominated in naira and dollar - materialism. Oh God!
