Get a job after NYSC when you attend the Competency/Employability Skills Training in Abuja

Thursday, August 25, 2016 & Friday, August 26, 2016 in FCT Abuja

Joint Initiative for Development's Internship Connect programme empowers young graduates from tertiary institutions with Employability skills needed in the 21st century workplace. After the training, we connect you with Employers to intern for a period of between 3-6months, giving you opportunity to work your way into full-time engagement. Our training focus on Life skills which are skills needed to effectively meet the challenges of everyday life and the 21st century workplace.

Our trainings are FREE but interested participants must send CVs and a Passport photograph to internshipconnect@ji4d.org. Venue and other details will be communicated subsequently. Deadline for submission is 23rd August 2016. CVs received after deadline date will be scheduled for our next training. Please note that our Internships are paid.

Anyone scammed via this "FREE Training" scheme ehn... I dunno what to say bout such person.

Although I never read a part of the post that states the training goes for a fee. Buh you having to pay any cash (just in case they ask at the venue) means you are very much vulnerable to any other cheap form of scamming!

Hello Nairalanders, please I need a clarification on an issue that has been lying beside me for some days now. We graduated in 2015 but have not yet been mobilized for the NYSC, no thanks to an intra departmental problem that has been resolved. My coursemates and I were elated when we confirmed that our names are in the Students' Affairs Unit. We have been hoping to go with Batch B 16 after narrowly missing A 16. We have now been living in despair after the NUC made public the names of the departments and Schools that lost its recent accreditation. Unfortunately, my Department was axed as well. Though I have spoken with my HOD and he has dispelled my fears. My question is, will we that graduated before our Department lost the NUC accreditation be affected?

Since your course had no accreditation issues as of the time you graduated, you shouldn't be affected.

Besides, your HOD already "dispelled" your fears. So, why fear?
