Former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) retired Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh was yesterday evening detained at the Abuja Head Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Daily Trust gathered that the former Chief of Defence Staff honoured an EFCC invitation to explain acts of financial crimes allegedly perpetrated  while he was both Chief of Air Staff (CAS) and Chief of Defence Staff (CDS).

EFCC sources said Badeh arrived the Abuja head office yesterday evening where operatives of the anti-graft agency commenced quizzing him on alleged involvement in the arms procurement scam in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
Badeh topped the list of both former and serving military officers recommended for further investigation by a Presidential audit report investigating arms procurement in the military from 2007 to 2015 as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Badeh had appeared before EFCC investigators last week Wednesday.
Daily Trust also gathered that the EFCC ‎still have the former Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Marshal Adesola Amosu two weeks after his arrest.
It was gathered that the Commission has over the period obtained holding charges from Courts in order to keep him beyond the stipulated 48 hours before arraignment.
Daily Trust learnt that most of the officers detained and questioned on the list provided by the Presidential committee have been released after making their statements.
Those still in detention, including Amosu are said to have made statements that require response and clarification by the former CDS.
It was gathered that statements obtained from the military officers led the EFCC to deploy its operatives across the country, sealing property and assets linked to the arms fund.

Looks like all those who "chop and clean mouth" during Jonathan's administration will be singing new tunes now that they know PMB means business.

I suspect Buhari ordered his arrest because he was invovled in the coup that oust Buhari in the 80's. This smell of persecution.

Unfortunately wailing zombies who don't wish themselves well think this way but PMB remains undeterred all looters must kneel to the rule of law.

Don't do the crime if you don't want to the time!
