UR MISSING THE POINT HERE .. ITS NOT ABOUT INTIMIDATION ITS ABOUT STANDING UP FOR WHATS RIGHT.. A WRONG DONE TO ONE IS A WRONG DONE TO ALL.. IF EFCC IS ALLOWED TO CROSS THAT LINE WITHOUT BEING DEALT WITH THEN NO LAWYER IS SAFE IN COURT.. WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT LAWYERS ARE A PRINCIPAL PART OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT PROCESS .

THEY ARE DUTY BOUND TO REPRESENT ALL .. THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY...AGREED SOMETIMES LAWYERS GO OUT OF LINE IN SEEKING TO PROTECT THEIR CLIENTS BUT THAT IS TO BE EXPECTED FROM ONE WHO IS REALLY COMMITTED TO HIS CLIENT AS EXPECTED ..

RICKY TARFA DID NOT DO ANYTHING BEYOND ORDINARY .. INFACT LAWYERS IN NIGERIA DONT WIELD AS MUCH POWER AS THEIR COUNTERPARTS IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD ..

AND THEN THE JUDGES .. THEY ARE NOT TO BE SEEN AS AN EXTENSION OF EFCC BUT A NEUTRAL PARTY SEEKING TO BALANCE THE NEED FOR JUSTICE AND THE RIGHT TO FAIRNESS ..

EFCC IS FINALLY WORKING..THANK GOD ..GMB IS DETERMINED TO FIGHT CORRUPTION GREAT .... BUT PROPER CHECKS NEED TO BE IN PLACE TO CURB OVERZEALOUS OFFICERS WHO HIDE UNDER THIS GUISE TO ACT WITH IMPUNITY AND MALICIOUSLY...

INFACT THESE OVERZEALOUS OFFICERS POSE MORE RISK TO THE ANTI CORRUPTION DRIVE BECOS BY ACTING ON IMPULSE AND SENTIMENTS THEY MAKE MISTAKES WHICH THE ACCUSED OR OPPOSITION MAY CAPITALIZE ON ..

THE LAW CAN BE AN ASS SOMETIMES .. AND ONE MISTAKE CAN MARK THE END OF A SEEMINGLY GOOD CASE

These rogue efcc operatives acting with impunity should not tarnish Magu's chairmanship of efcc. Magu is known to be an officer of rigorous discipline, these officers must be the vestiges of Looter Lamorde's era of official criminality. Kidnapping lawyers, stealing phones and seizing cars, then invading the former vp's offices? SMH. I trust Magu to deal with them properly.
