Digital Marketing Officer
REPORTS TO: Head of Marketing
LOCATION: Lagos
Job Summary
The digital marketing officer works within the marketing team. His primary responsibility is to promote the company’s products, services or ideas online.

The incumbent will use his/her confidence and creativity to market BPN products across channels like websites, apps and through social media and will also use his/her budgeting and planning skills to support the team ensuring advertising campaigns are successful.

RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN DUTIES

§ Seeking out new opportunities for online marketing campaigns
§ Develop marketing copy for websites and maintaining website activity
§ Liaising with software developers to enable search engine optimisation
§ Analysing web traffic to company websites and providing monthly reports
§ Liaising with web and graphic designers to create visually effective software
§ Creating and maintaining social networking channels
§ Writing copy for email marketing campaigns
§ Contributing to the company’s marketing strategies for products
§ Creating brochures and other printed materials to supplement online products
§ Communicating key information relating to digital products to non-digital marketing colleagues
§ Representing BPN at conferences, product launches and networking events
Digital Marketing Officer’s Skill

BRAND MANAGER

REPORTS TO: HEAD OF MARKETING

 LOCATION:  LAGOS

 Job Summary

The Brand Manager works with the Head of Marketing within the marketing function, and is primarily responsible for ensuring that the products, services and product lines that fall under their domain resonate with current and potential customers. To do so, these professionals continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on competitive products in the marketplace.

The incumbent serve as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing marketing initiatives and activities for their particular brand. These initiatives and activities include campaigns (print, web, social media, broadcast, etc.) 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN DUTIES

BRAND MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

• Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies

• Manage creative development and develop motivating stimulus to get targeted population to “take action”

• Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates

• Analyse Berger Paints’ brand positioning in the market and crystallise targeted consumers insights

• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues

• Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy

• Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions

• Develop new and innovative growth strategies

• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

 

Brand Manager’s Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong research and analytical skills

• In-depth understanding of the company’s current products and future concepts

• Develops brand plans that build equity and business 

• Ability to think creatively and innovatively

• Budget-management skills and proficiency

• Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field

• Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges

• Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.

• Monitoring progress and takes action Core aspects underpinning all skills: Creativity, Empathy, Obsession with brands & consumers, Sense of Aesthetics, Analytical Thinking & Rigour 

 

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum BSc in Marketing or any related course.

• A minimum of 5-7yrs experience on a similar role.

• A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
