OgunNewsFact:
We are free to talk or keep quiet forever, but whichever way, we would be the victims of their wrong acts.
Till December last year, a Bajaj Boxer Motorcycle sold for N126,000 , that was during the era of the tagged clueless government trying so hard to manage the reality then. Two weeks ago the same Bajaj Motorcycle sold for N142,000 and as at yesterday it was selling for N172,000. Do you know the effects of this on the people?
Is it not terrible that Sanusi Lamido, one of those who intentionally pull GEJ goverment down and a staunch supporter of APC is today condemning the policy of the present federal government on exchange rate? Hear him,
"The true economic value (market value/exchange rate) of naira is 308 naira to 1 dollar. That is the real value. But at what value do Buhari and his friends sell their naira? They sell it at 200 naira to a dollar. That means that the President is using Nigerian people's money to subsidise the price of dollars at almost 33%. That means that each time Buhari and his friends want to buy a dollar, they will bring out only 200 naira and the Nigerian people will add 108 naira to their 200 naira in order for them to buy a dollar. That is corruption, you know. Sanusi, a close friend of Buhari, could not deny this truth.- BBC News, bbc.com
That our president haphazardly junkets around different Countries without a vibrant foreign policy and the ministry concerned with international politics alone is bad. Lavish spending of the Nation's meager resources is worse. The worst of diplomacy is the headline
"Nigerians' reputation for crime has made them unwelcome in Britain, says country's president".
My people are useless, My people are senseless,
My people are indisciplined, Na Nigerian
government be that o, dem dey talk be dat o.
- Fela Anikulapo Kuti in the 80s is one musical that would come to mind.
How time flies, just like yesterday when Fela
Anikulapo Kuti sang this musical satire lambasting
the military regime of Generals Muhammadu
Buhari/Tunde Idiagbon for their autocratic and
dehumanising treatment of citizens notably of
the Southern origin. History, they
say, has a way of repeating itself, the same Buhari
has labelled Nigerians as "having penchant for
crime and criminality. A leopard never changes its
spots. It is difficult to bend a dry fish.
God please save our Nation!
The lawless acts of our government by not respecting the courts and the constitution of our land is unwelcome. Would the judiciary continue to watch as their profession is destroyed?
What is it about the increment on electricity tariff? 48percent increment is sure not considerate for a service that is not well rendered. Infact, when government spending is now on frivolity and foreign contractors and the budget of our Nation has been so full of many controversies with a tone of indebtedness we are sure not serious with our lives. Albeit, no increase in salary of workers.
This government that got to power with a powerful propaganda machinery and deceit, for the love of our children and Nation should please focus on governance and stop playing politics with the lives of our people. The blame game should stop as the GEJ/PDP administration had done their own, these were some of the challenges they managed. Things are getting so hard and an average Nigerian is getting so pauperised.
Pa Buhari and his team should not take food away on the tables of our people, we are now begging.
