Activities in the University of Ibadan have been paralysed by the University Staffs till further notice. The Staffs decided to employ students' aluta methods by locking the gates leading to the campus, the reason was not far fetched "money". Though students strike is usually based on increase in fees, the staff reason was the opposite. Deduction in their salary by the management was the reason for their agitation, the deduction was said to ranged from 10000 naira to 15000 depending on staffs cadre.
We hope to see it resolved soon, while we wait for response from the University Management.
