The Nigerian Judicial system should not be seen as giving refuge to a fugitive. What is the position of Gen Buhari's government on this issue?

Fully supported!!!!We should learn to follow the judicial route in cases like this because anybody could be the victim and thats what always ensures that justice is done and in this current administration, cases like this dont take forever.Saraki's case is a good example.Let the AG and NDLEA pursue this case seriously in the courts.

Hello Nigerians,

There are alot of things pepple don't understand on this form. If I happens to have two people and to choose to pick between OBJ and Buruji Kasamu as a friend, I would gladly choose Sen Buruji than choose OBJ. Simply because of OBJ used and dump style of leadership, In 2011 governorship electionship election, Sen. Kasamu singlehandedly fight former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel to stand still with all the PDP structure at Daniel disposal. Buruji spent over 2 billion naira to obtained various court injuction to save OBJ from OGD embarrasment at that time simply because OBJ believed he supposed to bring a successor as next Ogun State governor after OGD. Whereas. OBJ is playing a divide and rule game by using Buruji to achieved his aim.so that neither GNI of PPN nor Tunji Olurin of PDP both governorship aspirants from Ogun West Senatorial disrict. OBJ was playing his game to favour incubent Ogun State Ibikunle Amosu to emerged the winner while OBJ was busy deceving and using Kasamu that was one of the main reasons why PDP lost Ogun State to Amosum of formerly ACN now APC. As at that time, Kasamu was OBJ beloved son that saved him from Daniel embarasment. The rest is now history like wise every event and individual would become history. It is now depends on what uou do, when you it and how you do it.

Finally, I would prefer Kasamu to OBJ because if Kasamu promise to give you a position or something else. he would fulfill that promised and would not use you and dump you. Till today, Kasamu is still awarding scholaships to indigent students. still feeding people times squarely meal. still providing employment to people and still empowering people up till today.

You have spoken my mind, if he is found guilty to have committed the offence let him be extradicted to USA without delay. A criminal must not been given chance to soil this nation.
Politicization of all issues will not promotes the unity and progress in Nigeria. Even if Kashamu is from my village in Abeokuta, he must be condemned and be punished.

The US doesn't obey international laws. So, nobody should send Kashamu to the US for any reason whatsoever, unless he want go on holidays. For over 30 years the Venezuelan and Bolivian government have been trying unsuccessfully to extradite known terrorists hiding in the US. Instead, the US used them to extract useful intelligence information and gave them protection.

Our own wey go spoil out name for obodo oyibo. If he was an ordinary citizen, tell me they wouldn't have extradited him by now.

In switzerland, its very difficult to extradite a citizen. Same with many western countries. Nobody sends their own to be slaughtered in a foreign land when the country has its own justice system. Infact in the US, by virtue of their constitution the govt will pull heaven and earth to defend its citizen. This is the reason Bush and Blair will never be sent to face ICC for their crimes in middle east

But in nigeria, the past administration kept send out its citizens simply because they wanted selfish "international favours". Its time for nigerians to wake up and stop playing second fiddle to the international community.

This is ridiculous. Do you really think the Nigerian legal system comes anywhere close to that of the United States in terms of quality or fairness? For your information, most Western countries have extradition treaties with each other, and extraditing criminals from Europe to the USA, or vice versa, is no big deal. You also need to learn the distinction between the ICC and bilateral extradition treaties between nations.

People need to stop trying to stir up nationalism to defend Nigerian criminals. If people like Kashamu, Ibori and Alamieyeseigha are sought on criminal charges abroad, then there is no reason to keep them from going to face justice where their crimes were allegedly committed: any effort to the contrary is simply thieving, crooked politicians defending one of their own, at the expense of the Nigerian masses (as always).

Why should a drug currier be allowed to use the instruments of the state to run from the arms of the law .
Am pretty sure KASHAMU is a mere joker if he can manober in nigeria he surely cant play any bad games aftef all former governor James Ibori latd walk into prison joyously like a drunken soldier . so kashamu will surely walk into prison too in the US before 2029 winter .

But many fifa officials were extradited from Switzerland na. And some of them are even Swiss. Can you tell me how that happened.

US and the UK does not recognize the Rome statue on which ICC is formed. So that's why they'll never submit to ICC.
