Permit me to use this medium to introduce a Nigerian ,whose invention has made Africa proud, even though he is not well known to many. His invention has brought a lasting solution to corrosion menace,which was a serious problem to offshore drilling, Marine and aero-nautical equipments installation and maintenance over the years.

He is the title holder of the Grand Marshal for Peace Pursuit in Africa. He is the diamond award holder for African Leadership Roll Model .Tthe Initiator and Founder of King Clement Foundation. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comandclem Nigeria Limited. Also, he is an Agronomist and a reputed chemical scientist, an expert in the use of herbicides and insecticides in fumigation of homes, offices, factories, warehouses, farms storage facilities and schools. He has lasting solutions to infestation by mosquitoes, rodents, cockroaches, bed bugs, snakes, flies, weevils; his expertise in chemicals cannot be over emphasised.

In the scientific world, he is the true and statutory Inventor of the Anti-Corrosive Special Paint for Q.I.T. (Transteel-blue, snow-white, Berger Marine Quick Air Dry Q.A.D.) This is the only enabling chemical that makes oil exploration possible throughout the whole world. This great man in 1980, went on a research fifty nautical miles and above from Ibeno, Eket in Akwa Ibom State, South-South, Nigeria, into the Atlantic Ocean by the borders of Cameroon, Las Palma, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, exploring the areas of highly salty acidic and alkaline waters within the Bight of Biafra, which has a common boundary with Bonke in The Republic of Cameroon.

In the course of this scientific research, he discovered that the quantity of oil below the seas is as great as the quantity of water above the seas. He also discover that the ocean is packed full of mineral deposits such as salt, natural gas, condensate, crude oil, ocean deposit of sand banks suitable for manufacturing of glass and aluminium from the burning of gas from crude wells etc. The ocean, if well exploited has the capacity of controlling the overall economy of West Africa in export and local utility.

King Professor Clement John Adiamiko Uwemedimoh, singularly was able to walk majestically, fearlessly and boldly dived into the depth of the Atlantic Ocean. He fought and battled with dangerous creatures, breaking and scattering their fetters without incurring any injury from their vicious attack, nor melting away like rusting iron from serious salinity. He was able to break through the yokes of corrosion and finally came out of the sea with anti-substances which were component of his research. Because of the above, he was awarded with A NON CONVENTION PATENT LICENCE, with certificate number RP13522 of 5th August 1999, by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This is a special licence that gives him the sole right, sole privilege to the royalty of this invention.

As Britain rules the air-wave through their invention, Nigeria now also controls the sea through the anti-corrosive special paint! King Professor Clement Uwemedimoh is a 1965 graduate of Verom University, Virginia in United States of America. He is an indigene of Ikot Ataku, Eket in Akwa Ibom State, South-South of Nigeria. He was installed “King of the wealth of the Oceans” by Traditional Rulers Council of Nigeria on 4th November, 2006.
