Some claim this Omoku killings have been going on for a few years.
Even if we agree,how come this has now become a weekly affair,how come kidnappings have become regular?
What measures has the present state govt put in place?
What has the govt even said about these killings and kidnappings?Of course, virtually nothing because Wike is more interested in telling people how the monorail was embezzled by Wike,how the braithwaite hospital remains uncompleted etc.
Wike claims to have built roads,but in this modern age, no person has bothered to ask how much was paid per km, where are the roads and where was the money sourced from?
Any govt that came into power via violence and the blood of innocent and not so innocent souls,cannot have any clear focus and agenda because it will always be daily occupied with how to embezzle money to compensate it's foot soldiers,eliminating those it can or thinking of the next violent means to hold unto its blood acquired legitimacy.
Wike cannot offer anything to Rivers state than embezzlement,violence and scandals.
Unless something gives,I fear there won't be an end to the killings and kidnappings because the state govt is still more concerned about consolidating power.
That's d bitter truth.
