Goodmorning my co forumists,can somebody kindly put me tru on dis-wheneva i connect my nokia e63 fon wit my laptop using zain sims it do connect but it always indicate limited service or local only on d connection icon,but i browse normaly on d fon and wheneva i uses mtn sims i brows nicely.pls i realy want a guidline on dis cos zain seems to be more internet reliable to mtn.

The reason why you are seeing that limited service or local connectivity is because u are using zain wap.Try activate ur zain sim to their "internet" and u will see the difference.moreover,when u use software like yf or jap,the limited service will varnish.But zain internet is still the best.so,go for it

zain internet is just #200 in their office(u still got 1 this morning).

i experinced a like problem, but i went to there cc at ilupeju, and the guy over there did some manipulations and told me that i'll start browsing the following morning, and it worked out, only that i'm currently browsing with wap and it serves me well.

whats the difference between internet and wap? what are the settings? does anyone have an idea?

Wap uses proxy(i.p n port).
Internet doesnt,and its alot fastr.

The only way i can guarantee your sim to be activated 95% for zain internet is in their office.I personally storm their office and demand/bamboozle the damsel that attend to me that i need zain internet.she demanded for 1k i told her that i don't have money.she finally told me,how much can i afford to pay.I told her #200 bucks,she then decided to activate my "beloved 0802 sim" for internet for FREE.i sent five diff people for their own PERSONAL SIM activation,but they all came back with different stories.some activated,some were not.Dragnet got his own sims activated by calling their C.C 111.I,wanting to imitate Dragnet called their C.C about 4 different occasion,i was assured that my sims have been activated for internet,only for me to drop the call and discovered that it was a prank-wap settings.Data packet not available for internet settings.so, all of you guys that needed your sims to be activated for zain internet go to their office.i hope nobody will ask me the same question again
