To be factual, the 2016 budget is not embarrassing BECAUSE it is new in content. It is actually embarrassing because it contains a lot of the Old budget and CHIEFLY because it is the most open to public view and social media criticism and scrutiny in the history of Nigeria. Budget is usually prepared reflecting the previous, and in that they made not many errors. Where the mistake is lies in the poor perception of public expectation and backlash, and in the ridiculous ways in which the noisemakers(ministers) have denied the budget.

The budget is a disgrace because of the relative transparency of the present government. [s]the contents are better in reality when compared with past budgets. The naira is falling due to market sentiments and policies from the CBN, not because of the budget. The NASS should have passed the budget this month instead of further wasting time, so that implementation can start which would reflect in the economy and give it a lift. The NASS are just drama queens, they will still approve the budget of course with some adjustments as is dome yearly, but nothing major or surprising. We all know this, yet we commend them and encourage them to play to the gallery. Budget/appropriation bill is nothing, it's less than 10%. The real work is implementation and the so called zero based budgetting model they hope to employ, which is more strenous, time consuming and could end up as a bottle neck[/s].

The most damaging of SR revelations was against Emir Lamido Sanusi 's activities when he was CBN governor . There were allegations of Contract awards and promoting his girl friend sone of which may have been false.
In Nigeria We have to get serious and reason like adults. The interesting thing was that Sanusi was Jonathan's main critic in government but it never stopped SR from doing their information
warfare against him.

You could be pro PDP and still have the objectivity to see Jonathan for what he was . A fake ass, extremely corrupt and dull mediocre leader who assumed qualities he did not have and still never net the standard of tge office he was never qualified for in terms of qualities.

You might also be an APC supporter and see Buhari as a person with possible dictatorial qualities and a man with high power distance who needs to get people closer to himself so as to feel the pulse of his own government and the people. It is by being courageous to face truth and say it that you can give constructive criticism.

When I said Buhari does not have budget and National Assembly to audit his spending as Military head of state and that he may be corrupt too, some people wanted to cut off my head. A lot happened in the dark and the reason he censored the press then and wants to do now.
