I type this with a heavy heart as I have just been informed of the demise of my little cousin. He has been battling kidney failure for sometime now and according to the doctor was caused by high sodium in take. I had thought he would make it but i thought wrong. Chukwuyere Akujobi was a great fan of indomie noodles and wouldn't go a day without eating it. I had to buy a packet of indomie (hungry man size) now and discovered that the sodium content is 3200mg which is above the daily dietary requirement as I discovered when I googled it. I want to inform everyone especially those who are not aware about this so that someones life will not be cut short like that of my cousin. Please don't eat them often.  Am so sorry. We get salt from most of the food we eat naturally, extra salt isn't needed. |
