Last year Etisalat restricted users fron tethering through WiFi-hotspot on BB plans, so it affected Android users too

Bcus even as mtm psi is 5gb cap when u exceed 5gb u would still b allowed to browse until d month ends or until d period of time u subscribed for ends.

exactly, its not actually sortta cheat, your only tricking network provider into thinking ur using a BB phone.... So ur using their plans just like every other BB6 or 7 phone
