The tallest building in the world is known as the Burj Khalifa (known as the Burj Dubai before its inauguration on 4th Jan., 2010). It is located in Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Burj Khalifa stands at 828 meters (2,716.5 feet) tall, soaring over Dubai. Its construction was started on September 21, 2004 and completed in 2009.
