Go to Abuja and see for yourself. 7 out of every 10 flash cars or houses are owned by northerners. An average northerner prefers to invest in Nigeria than to go outside. That is why we always wear made in Nigeria clothes. We are Africans and proud.
many so called educated tribalists on this thread are just making noise. There are thousands of Northerners scattered round the globe world quietly working n doing great. Northerners don't make so much noise .God bless Nigeria.

Dat was d same thing dat came 2 my mind when I saw d spelling'Boyega'.Dat sounded like an adulterated version of 'Gboyega',so he's prolly frm SW.
But Akinnuoye and Hakeem are my favorites.have u watched 'Pompeii'?Agbaje nailed dat role.
I remembered him in Lost alongside Kazim.I think d location of d scenes they both starred in was shot in Nigeria.

What kind of tribalistic sentiment is that? Later on you will be the same people who go abroad and complain about suffering racism.

Please tell him, he doesn't want to sound tribalistic but that is exactly what he's doing. Some Igbo peeps just love doing that and they don't know it's annoying, that's why as a Niger-Deltan I can't relate with someone like that. Can't they for once drop that childish sentiment and address everyone as a Nigerian? Smh

Thanks a lot. It's so childish.

They are actors who happen to be of Nigerian descent. There job is not to do what your leaders failed to do.

I said Taaa!!!

How silly. It's practically like saying 9 out of 10 houses in Kaduna is owned by a Northerner, therefore we are doing well. Really! How not very smart. Dude Abuja is a northern city in Nigeria, dominated by Northerners ...duh...and it's also the capital of man-know-man in Nigeria. Nowhere else within Nigeria does cronyism thrive as it does in Abuja. It's a city subsidized by corruption, hence the plethora of mansions and estates with no one living inside.

Secondly it's an impressive display of the Nigerian Crude Oil resource which has been cornered through force by the North from the days of military rule. 85% of oil wells in the south are owned by northerners, so which wealthy northerner worth his salt doesn't have a house in Abuja for instance.

Despite these you'll still find that a rather large percentage of real estate there are owned by south easterners. So your point is moot. Dead on arrival. You guys never thrive in a level playing field. There has to be use of force or cronyism or nepotism at play. From education to business to industrialization it's the same story.

For every one core northerner doing well by merit internationally, there are AT LEAST 30 south easterners, westerners & southerners doing just as well if not better in the same field.

And please STOP saying you don't blow your trumpet, it's silly. When you're really doing well legitimately, and outstanding in any field, you can never remain hidden. You won't need to blow any trumpet. The public will find you out and blow it for you.

It's just like the numerous guys from SS, SE & SW who emerge best performing students in several foreign universities every year. They don't need to shout, their achievements always manage to precede them.

For those saying we should not be tribal about this. Hehehe...seriously? You think this is being tribal? Look people we need to grow in this country. To do so we need to point out trends and ask difficult questions towards finding a lasting solution.

The core north is the one dragging us backward. Fact.

From today start telling yourself the truth so you can grow.

Igbos and Yorubas moving the nation forward on the international scenes, while Hausa Fulani are busy dragging the nation back to the stone ages.

We are like two strange nations forced to live together by Lord Lugard and his whisky-sipping girlfriend, Flora Shaw
