For a family which has played a lot of role in the Politics of one of the greatest nation on earth, The Bush Family can not be disregarded easily given the fact the Family has had two Presidents within a space of twenty years. George H W Bush (1989 – 1993) and George W. Bush (2001-2009)

Having been Florida’s first two-term Republican governor and the son of a Former US President and brother of another President, it was expected that Jeb bush would pull a surprise at the GOP campaign with the level of financial support he was getting. Unfortunately that was not to happen as two days ago he publicly withdrew his candidacy from the race. Perhaps his failure to sail easily among the GOP contestants was his style of playing the “Good guy” always sticking to policy and the people’s disenchantment with the family. His greatest undoing was his strong support of his elder brother’s tenure a President, one which most Americans were never comfortable with.

Probably, he may have fared a bit better in his campaign if he had distanced himself completely from his brothers policy and activities carried out especially among other nations, one which cost the republicans their defeat in 2008. The message is no one wants a failure a second time. Some school of thought felt his surname as Bush didn’t help matters too.

He did distanced himself from his brother but Trump kept on bringing his brother into the discourse. I personally think he should have brought his brother on early and dare the consequences. As a candidate I think JEB campaigned badly not just for his brother. Rubio seem to be taking over from him and I think he is making a little headway despite his inexperience. Heard about George P Bush?... A rising star in Texas politics.
