A friend of my who has spent five years as a contract staff in a bank has been invited by the bank for a test which hopefully might lead to his conversion to core staff.
While this sounds like good news , if he is successful his new level will be an ET.Should he accept the offer or resign at the end of this year to pursue a business he has been saving toward as the bank in question has a reputation of keeping staffs on one level for more than 7 years.

He should grab the job sharply, this will help him save more for his business.

Add 2 more years after the conversion, this period will make him choose his decision wisely nd possibly save more.
