Arsenal v Barcelona was touted to be the biggest game in the Round of 16 and it did not disappoint. It had everything everyone wanted, beautiful football, fouls, goals and a cameo which ruined the tie for Arsenal. Arsenal actually did well to Barcelona out for a long time until they finally gave in to the pressure and conceded in the 71′ when Leo Messi finally scored against Cech. Messi then doubled it when Flamini, who just entered the field fouled the Argentine in the penalty box and conceded a penalty.
There were a lot of important talking points in this game from Arsenal’s point of view, where they could have done better, who should have played etc.
