I don't know where exactly it happened in Nigeria but according to a social media user who shared the 'shameful' photos, the young boy was brutally beaten by his father for allegedly stealing N100.

I know stealing is not good but parents should be relatively moderate with the way they punish their kids.

Who should we blame? The father who was excessive in his ways of training his son that stealing is bad or the son who would grow up becoming a thief; believing that stealing is not corruption?

Poverty can make people irrational in their reaction to issues. Hope the boy recovers speedily and desist from stealing
