One day,I know I would be on yesterday's record
My body will answer the call of nature
One day,the water will settle in the pot
And a pound of flesh in me will know peace from its job.

One day,my breath will escape me
My mortal body will show its true colour
I know I would go on an unreturned journey
I know I would be cast and closed into the very earth by my beloved.

One day,I would be planted like a tuber of yam
One day,the belly of earth will be open to consume me
On that day,I know not who truly shed tears in my cause
For that day,I know not which fiend foe friend to keep.

I know that the fire will know peace when the disturber is gone
Yes! Suddenly the veils are drawn
Hey! The accurate time-keeper it is you I address
What happen next after your mischief?

After I leave my body of imperfection and hug my soul that is,
I ask you: what more you do after my soul is made a wanderer?
When my world is end,when you stop me and my things.

What more mischief can you do?
When you stop me like my processors,hack me like my ancestors
When you stop me amidst business and scenery of life,
Oh Death,be not proud

* This poem is in respect to John Donne,the poet who wrote: Death,be not proud.I was nicknamed John Donne in antonomasia to the real John because I was told that my writings are mostly about momento mori (death) like him.
