This is just the main reason why the burning trailer yesterday along Ikorodu Road could not be savaged. The Federal Fire Service, just some few kilometers away from the incident only has one old dilapidated truck. That's so unfortunate in an era of change and in this present dispensation. The truck could not even be mobilized, not to talk of even putting a call through to them.

Africa at large need to have a re-positioning strategy of the whole continent. We have this bad maintenance and developmental culture. How can a Fire Service in a major location have just a single truck, and an old one for that matter.

We need a re-birth on this continent!!!
