Nigerian political landscape has been embarrassingly defined by tribalism, ethnicity, nepotism and god fatherism.
one can hardly differentiate between the numerous political parties except for their logo's banners and slogans. they cannot be ideologically distinguished.

The first republic politicians, noticeably awolowo had an enviable ideology whose replication has been impossible, since his demise.

i'm a liberal conservative. I am 100% a capitalist, i believe the private sector is the brain behind any growing economy. government's role should be limited to policy.

I dont support free education or health . . . nothing shld ever be free. Govt shld however maintain low-cost public healthcare and educational alternatives for those who cant afford private care.

I am talking about a total new order for Nigeria. Forget all these borrowed philosophies on democracy and socialist and communist and all that nonsense. We need a think tank to formulate new ideas completely separate from all the failed ideas of the West. Their democracy is not working well for them as we have seen, neither is their socialism or communism. We need new philosophical thinking to propell our growth.

I dont know of recent history but I will say the combination of Buhari and Idiagbon, as well as Murtala Mohammed. I also love the vision of Ironsi, although his peers were not so blessed to see that far into the future. I love what Fashola is doing.

If Nigeria has a future then Biafra need to revisit Ironsi's vision and revive it. If Nigeria does not have a future then Biafra need to revisit the Aburi accord and see what they can recover from it and use that to initiate a set of protocols for a conciliatory separation.

The militants in Delta is the outcome of bad leadership by Nigerian Presidents. Before MEND the Deltans had spent years in talks with the government. It ended in KS Wiwa's execution. The Deltans have lost trust in their FG and the escalation we see now is a resolve by these people with a choice to fight to death than to live under the terms of their adversaries. It is a necessary struggle and an inevitable one given that leadership at the central govt is insensitive to their humanity.

Business should be easy to set-up and allowed to prosper, but employees must be given the right to band together and unionize if they so choose. There are no pure systems of governance, Democracy and Socialism are part of the same branch of governance and the only thing separating them this day and age is by degree. Do you want the government to have a stake in everything, but not outright ownership if it is decided by a democratically elected government? or Not? Most people will say not which is fine by me. I don't think that the government needs to be involved in every aspect of life and business. Fascism and socialism bear resemblances as well. Socialism is turned into a form of authoritarian fascism if a dictator like Chavez decides to start nationalising businesses left and right indefinitely. There is nothing socialist about that, that is just fascism for the sake of expanding The power of the state regardless of the people's wishes. Third, no Nigerian politician really reflects my views; but seeing as Nigerian is still in the nascent state of nation building(for forty freaking years and counting) this doesn't bother me. I really can't look at Nigerian leaders through ideological lenses, I will like them all the same if they actually do their job. There is nothing ideological about that.

Move away from labels and titles and focus on the vision. . . the philosophical mindset.  Once you do that you will see that the dots connect between each and every one of those leaders and what I propose.

They ought not to exist in a democratic entity and ought not to be encouraged in any way by government.  Any group promoting any ideology that poses a threat to the soverignty of a nation ought to be considered a terrorist group, in my opinion. You cannot be patriotic, and still support terrorists or separatists groups. Only that in Nigeria's case, the government stupidly allows such.

Free only if the people are gladly willing to foot the bill. In Nigeria, I think it is Free is best since we have enough money coming in to help foot the bill at this time. However, I would recommend basic Health care/Education be free, but any advanced need to be subject to approval.

Biafra and niger delta agitations would not have arising if nigeria was not structurally flawed.personally i will prefer nigeria remains one but under 100% federalism( us style) and regions with similarity(like south east or south west) or different groups agreeing to be under one region(peharps niger delta or akwaibom/crossreiver axis) forming those regions instead of the nonsense states we have at the moment.
