Some kidnappers were just caught committing their heinous crime in Sango area of Ibadan, Oyo state. The kidnappers of yet to be verified numbers were caught by a vigilant cab driver who drew attention of passersby to the scene. The cab driver was alerted by the strange noise he heard coming from a car which was beside him in a hold-up. He called the attention of his passengers who then stopped the kidnappers' vehicle and demanded that the boot of the car be opened. Three kids and a woman in hijab were discovered in the boot. The strange noise was said to have been made by the woman in the boot who was hitting the chassis of the car from within.
Policemen from the nearby Sango station were alerted and they arrested the kidnappers. As at the time of filling this report, the kidnappers are being transfered to another station (possibly Iyaganku station).

NOTE:
1. I couldn't take pictures because of the large crowd gathered around.
2. Vigilance is required by all everyone especially at a time like this when crime is on the rise.
3. If you are ever caught in a desperate situation, continue trying your best to get out of it in every way you can. What if the woman gave up while the Vehicle was in motion? she would have missed the opportunity afforded by the holdup which alerted the cab driver.

Let's just hope they would be made to face the full wrath of the law. We can make them accountable through the social media. This issue of kidnapping in Ibadan is getting too rampant especially with Micra drivers.
