In a new case reported by human rights activits Dr Joe Odumakin, this 68-year-old woman was battered by her 79-year-old husband this week. The woman showed them a staff (walking stick) her husband used in smashing her head.When Odumakin spoke with the woman's husband, he said he was remorseful about the incident and it wasn't deliberate. He said the injury was accidental. According to Odumakin, she brought the couple together and resolved the matter.Both were sorry and promised they won't take their angers this far again.
