Most of our African women are genetically dark skinned though there is now a sudden surge to wanting to be fair and appear European, thanks to our journalist, magazine publishers and the media. Females would go to any lengths to acquire a change in skin tone and color even if it meant burning their skin. Hydroquinone shouldn't exceed 2% level but I have seen ladies wear a cream with about 13%.

Dangerous effects of skin lightening creams
§ Uneven skin tone... . Lol Coke and fanta
§ Burnt patches (neck area, elbows, knuckles)
§ Skin ages quicker and becomes thinner.
§ Problems arise during operations
§ Terrible body odour
§ Stressful because you must maintain the routine

Useful hints to give healthy complexion are
<> Clean and moisturize before going to bed no
matter how tired you are.
<> Diet well....
<> Sleep enough
<> Be calm under stress
<> Use a facial lotion or cream with sunscreen.
Note: The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, figure she carries or the way she combs her hair. Her beauty must be seen from her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. Have you ever found a scowling face beautiful?
