My fellow farmers, Vaccine is an active living substance that provide antibodies against a particular disease made from the causative agent of that disease; to act as antigen without inducing such diseases. For vaccine to be active and potent, it must remain in conducive temperature. (freezes/cooled state) from the point of production till time of usage. Many marketers have broken this cold chain. Most time I recommended made in Nigeria vaccines; Produced in veterinary institute in Vom Jos Plateau state Nigeria. Most foreign vaccines are DEAD on arrival. Administering Dead vaccine is a very big issue in poultry business, most farmers are victims including myself.. Any example of made in Nigeria vaccine? Cos most of the once I know are imported. |
