BODY ODOUR
Odour is something no one wants to have but how sad, they still have it. While some think they have, which they don’t and some think they don’t but they do. Whichever group you find yourself or you know a friend that you think will need this, then taking this few tips into consideration or sharing this with a friend will do. They’ll surely be grateful someday.
Body odour also known as B.O is a perceived unpleasant smell our bodies can give off when bacteria that live on the skin break down sweat into acids- some say it is the smell of bacteria growing on the body, but it really is the result of bacteria breaking down protein into certain acids.
Naturally, people who are obese, those who regularly eat spicy foods as well as individuals with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes are prone to having body odour. Sweat itself is odourless to humans; it is the rapid multiplication of bacteria in the presence of sweat and what they do(break sweat down into acids) that eventually causes the unpleasant smell. Body odour is most likely to occur in our feet, groin, armpits, genital, pubic hair and other hair, belly button, anus, behind the ears, and to some extent on the rest of our skin. Body odours have a nice and specific smell to the individual and can be used especially by dogs and other animals to identify people. Each person’s unique body odour can be influence by diet, gender, health, and medication.
Now, since you’re aware of the causes, lets dive into the tips:
1. Keep a regular bathe : it so much freshens the body and flushes away dirts settled on the skin which the bacteria that live on the skin tries to break down into acids which eventually causes offensive odour. More so, making use of antibacterial soap goes some mile to help the situation and always make sure to dry the body with towel thoroughly
2. Cut completely or trim down the hair around the body, genital, pubic hair, armpits:
3. keep your wardrope clean: make sure to create a separate place for dirty clothes and to wash them as soon as possible. Keeping it in mind to take care of your dress shirt to make it last longer and not fade away as a result of time to time washing, the use of undershirt is highly recommended. The undershirt get soaked and makes it unable for the dress shirt to get soaked easily.
4. use of deodorant and antiperspirants: once clean and dry, use a strong deodorant or antiperspirant on your underarms. While deodorants do not prevent sweating, they mask the smell of bacteria on your skin. Antiperspirants contain aluminium chloride, a chemical that reduces sweating and often also contain a deodorant.

Smelling good and nice makes people attracted to you and makes them want to be around you, people so much appreciate it but the moment they smell and unusual offensive odour, they start being distant or excusing you, which I’m very sure you don’t want that. Work on yourself and stay healthy.
