NgeneUkwenu:Only an illiterate would not understand that Jailing Or hanging Nnamdi Kanu is an impossibility. A man with a dual citizenship. UK for that matter. Why do you think this case is still in court. If he were to be just any ordinary Nigerian, they would have poisoned Him aforetime. But they can't touch him because the banner of the UNITED KINGDOM covers him |

greenpasture: That is why you are still a learner. The person handling this matter is Chuks Muoma (SAN), he hardly loss a case. If you have been following this matter very well you will understand that they have filed a motion for stay of proceedings, which means that Justice John Tsoho will not be presiding over this very case again, owing to his compromising stance and previous rulings. That's a knockout blow (KO). If you call that a delay tactics then sorry for you because if you were a lawyer you still have a long way to make it to the level of an (SAN), by the way we have the names of those that DSS wants to pay to become masquerades in this case. any news and media outlets can contact my email address on giftedben2014@hotmail.com 2 Likes |

Some of the hausa and yoruba brothers don't understand English. From the write up. It is boldly writing that #Nnamdi kanu is holding the zoo Nigeria Government at ransome. One thing that is assured is that the can't jail Nnamdi kanu, not to talk of killing him. It has come for time for pesecution and the judge john tshoho failed sick. That is to tell you that Nnamdi kanu is not an ordinary person, if he can predict the nature of this country today, what happens if he is given the chance to transform the zoo. #I stand with Nnamdi kanu. 1 Like |

kick: Let's ignore the smoke and focus on the fire shall we? A stay of proceedings doesn't in any way indicate the same Judge will no longer handle the case. It merely means that the defence intends to appeal a point of law to a superior court and the defence wants to have the matter stayed (or paused) while it does so. As I pointed out, the Criminal Justice Act says you can't pause substantive proceedings while appealing a point of law. So you can bet your last naira that the courts will refuse the stay (or pause) in proceedings in April. The defence might even appeal that too and on and on it goes. In the meantime, who gains from this pause? The client who is incarcerated? Of course not. It is the prosecution because as far as they are concerned the defendant is already in Jail. I wouldn't swear by a lawyer just because he is a SAN lol, it's 3-5 year lawyers that do their work for them. Law is not a respecter of persons. If the defendants lawyer thought he had a good case he would proceed to trial immediately. When you see a lawyer bobbing and weaving in this fashion, it means he is hunting for technicality or he is trying to elongate the trial so as to justify his fees because for sure he isn't doing it for free. And while he bobs and weaves he must remember that the State can also get into that game too- all the way up to the Supreme Court. By the time the case is finally heard the defendant has already done the time. Which is why I say - justice delayed is justice denied; the lawyer should get on with his case quickly. Just to focus your mind - this is where we are. The offence of Treasonable felony is a capital offence which is defined by section 37(1) of the Criminal Code Act as follows; a. Any person who levies war against the state, in order to intimidate or overawe the president or the governor of a state is guilty of treason and is liable to the punishment of death. b. Any person conspiring with any person, either within or without Nigeria, to levy war against the state with the intent to cause such levying of war as would be treason if committed by a citizen of Nigeria, is guilty of treason and is liable to punishment of death. There is no bail for a capital offence and at the rate the defence is going, the defendant will be in jail for the next four to five years before the final adjudication of the matter. That to my mind is wrong. Double jeapordy. May justice prevail. I have no skin in the game. 4 Likes |

After seeing lots of hateful posts on this forum i will have to change my signature because i don't see Africa rising with this generation of ethnic jingoists i want us to know that an injustice to one is an injustice to all. A German said when the nazis came for the Jews i did not say anything, when they came for Jehovah's witnesses i did not say anything and finally when they came for me nobody said anything. The entire south is marked for subjugation by the sons of othman dan fodio. Britain never conquered nigerians with British soldiers but they used africans to conquer Africans 1 Like |

greenpasture:Do you know why the defence counsel apply for stay of execution? You call it waste of time, but to me, the defense counsel does not want to put his egg in one basket judging by the way the trial judge made a u turn as regards his ruling on witness appearance. Even if the original trial goes on pari passu with the appeal, it will be in the defense counsel's advantage! This is because they can use one stone to kill two birds. If they succeed in the appeal (which they may likely do), the original trial will collapse. So in this sense, the defense counsel was right in suing for stay of execution rather than waiting for the original trial to run its course before starting another appeal process which will also take time. By the way, I don't think it's true that you don't have interest in the case. No matter how you tried to hide your bias, it clearly shows you want the case to swing to the federal government. I can infer it from your writing. 1 Like |

NgeneUkwenu: NgeneUkwenu or Ugheneukwani......or what ever u called urself.....U are a deceit and a northerner bokoharam. You are a citizen like fellow wicked tribesmen who are the first haters of other tribes composed in lord lugards Nigeria. Shamefully enough you and your generations born in blood stained hands which is hereditary have been cursed to live in hell a self imposed doom that will hunt your region for centuries. Open your eyes can't you see that despite your region being the most executive looters of the countries fund for nearly 40 Years of northern misrule your region is plagued with more poverty and underdevelopment than any other. That is an evident in generational curse. You record the highest disabilities and beggers, you record the highest genocide at every provocation. Blood thirsty generation you have to live for eternity the curse of terrorism a fruit you keep sowing till date as blood sucking self deluded vampires. God have cursed the land and its people. You have to repent. The signs are every were. Sexual adoption of minors, , armed robbery, religious extremism, looting of treasury, corruption, tribalism, killing and shedding of innocent blood, illiteracy, disability, poverty, slavery , wickedness, segregation, human right violation to mention a few are your characteristics, bow in shame a woe that you can start to repent so that in decades to come a new cleansed generation can emerge unlike the blood stained present generation under CURSE! ------- Prophet of Truth-------- 2 Likes |
