Result of the just concluded local government elections in sokoto state indicates that, All Progressive Congress (APC) has won all the chairmanship and councillorship seat.

The results were declared today by the chairman, State Indipendant Electoral Commission Alhaji Usman Abubakar.

The chairman announce that APC has won all the twenty two chairmanship seat and two hundred and thirty four councillorship seat.

Abubakar said the election was credible and peacefully,adding that a new date for the conduct of election in Gudu Local government would be announced later.

The election for the local government was suspended due to repetition of logos of some political parties on the ballot paper and other parties logos were missing.
