Reasons Why You Shouldn't Demand For An Apology. by VICTORDEBELS: 10:53pm On Mar 13, 2016
At some points in our lives, making someone to realise that s/he offended us forms part of our religious duties. That is, we are being taught to walk up to our offenders and make them realise that what they did and/ or said to us got us angry thereby eliminating grudges in our hearts. As for me, I have entirely different view... THERE ARE FOUR(4) MAJOR REASONS WHY WE SHOULD FORGIVE OUR OFFENDERS 'STRAIGHT AWAY' WITHOUT GOING TO THEM TO DEMAND FOR AN APOLOGY. They are: (1) Going to tell them may worsen the situation at hand. How would you feel when you walk up to your offender to demand for an apology and s/he says, 'Is it because of that thing, wait for more, I have not even started.' To him or her, s/he did and/ or said the right thing initially which cancelled the need for you to come to him/her. Your 2nd name may be 'sorry' when you go to judge them. Pride/ego may cloud their good sense of understanding at that moment because s/he wouldn't like to be the 'culprit'. ..4give straight away! (2). It shows people your weakness thereby making you vulnerable. You could easily be turned off and on. For instance, in a gathering, s/he already knows what to do for you to take your leave especially when certain things(food, money, gifts) will be shared among those present. People fear those who talk less. (3). It gives you rest of mind when you are not thinking about what s/he did and the best way to tell them that. (4). You may now add yours. Please, share but don't copy. Regards!
