In other to maintain a hygienic environment, Boeing engineers developed new airplane bathroom that can clean itself within 3 seconds using UV light. It doesn't clean, It also kills 99.99% of bacteria on all surfaces within the
bathroom, and automatically it will lift or lower the toilet seat to ensure proper cleanliness.


The UV light used in the toilet is not harmful to humans but it works perfectly against bacteria and also make them to. Boeing engineers designed it in such a way that you don't need to stress yourself in touching anything like the faucet is hands-free, as is the toilet seat, soap dispenser, and trash flap and also automatic hand dryer there is no need again for towel and the water is also sanitized. It can also remove odour and as you leave the door it closes automatically.

“The UV light destroys all known microbes by literally making them explode,” said Jamie Childress, Associate Technical Fellow and a BR&T engineer. “It matches the resonant frequency of the molecular bonds on the outside of the microbe.
