Declaration of war on Rivers resources: 8000 soldiers, 3000 DSS operatives join 6000 mobile policemen for rerun

*17000 security operatives already on ground
*Civil Defence, Customs; Immigration, Air Force, Navy to deploy another 8000
*personnel predominantly from North East and North West

There are indications that the Buhari administration on Tuesday night concluded the deployment of 8000 soldiers of the Nigerian Army from different military formations to Rivers State.

1000 out of the 8000 soldiers have been allocated to prominent Rivers APC leaders for sundry activities. Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi got 50 soldiers and an Armoured Personnel Carrier to move around with him to polling units and INEC election material distribution centres on Saturday.
