Dubai: The UAE has been ranked as the first in the region and the 28th globally as the happiest country to live in, according to the World Happiness Report 2016 issued on Wednesday.
The report, which was carried out by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) and the Earth Institute at Columbia University, ranked 157 countries based on happiness levels using factors such as per capita gross domestic product (GDP) and healthy years of life expectancy.
