Before Metuh was eventually charged to court, he ran his mouth like tap everywhere telling whoever cares to listen that if the government have evidence against, they should charge him to court and he will defend himself. Now that he's in court, to open his defence is a problem. The prosecuting team have closed their case for over two weeks and Metuh and his team cannot open their defence. If he's not making frivolous application, his Lawyer will be in an unnamed hospital in Ilorin treating an unnamed ailment.

Now, he wants the judge to hands of the case because they were classmates. That's the silliest excuse I have ever heard. No amount of delay tactics will help him as he will eventually run out of excuse and be forced to defend himself. There is no hiding place for the corrupt and justice most definitely be done in this case. The era of getting away will corruption is over, this is the era of change and the time for justice is now

This is the time for all Nigerians to rise and fight against any form of tactics to delay justice for evil done to her. This is just an obvious example. Let all patriotic Nigerian stage a peaceful demonstration that any application delaying judgement for any charged offences should not exceed 3 times and must be sensible ones. Thereafter, whether there is a defense or not, judgement should be passed.
