Job Title: Production Manager (Yoghurt)

Location: Oregun, Lagos

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

· Planning and organising production schedules

· Assessing project and resources requirements

· Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers

· Determining quality control standards

· Overseeing production processes

· Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary

· Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials

· Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

· Liaison with buyers, marketing and sales staff

· Ensure that industry standards are followed in all the production stages.

· Carry out engagement reviews and quality assurance (in Conjunction

with QC department

· Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately

· Day to day management of production in line with management targets

and expectations.

· Reporting daily to board of directors.



Requirements:
•Degree or HND (or its equivalent) MBA will be an added advantage
•Minimum of 3- 5 years post NYSC experience on yoghurt production

Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities:

•Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications;
•Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met;
•Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
•Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety;
•Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards;
•Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency;
•Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
•Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;
•Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;
•Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them;
•Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business;
•Making sure the company is working as effectively as possible to keep up with competitors.
•Responsible for Microbiology chemical lab activities.
•Inventory control for Chemical Lab teams like consumable material and maintain minimum stock by using support from Quality Assurance Manager.
•To strictly follow the Laboratory Instructions (Us) and Workbench instructions while doing analysis.
•Demonstrate continual improvement of Safety. Health arid Environment (SHE) performance.
•Maintain the factory’s commitment to the prevention of environmental pollution via the provision of resources and materials in line with the department impact and aspect.

Requirements:

· BSc degree or HND in any of these disciplines (Minimum of Second Class lower or Upper Credit Grade) In Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry and other biological sciences. MBA will be an added advantage

· Minimum of 3yrs experience

· Analytic and diagnostic ability.

· Excellent Computer skills- Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Power Point
