i am planning to buy a good car that i can maintain without bursting my account; the above- named cars are top on my list. I'll like to know how much i can get the tokunbo of the cars and which of them is easiest to maintain.

i hv actually used bullet 2.0 and it was wonderful,and i was abt posting the same question to nairalanders bt including nissan maxima 2001 to it.
i actually sold my bullet and wanting to buy either mazda 2000 model or maxima 2001 model or camry 1996 model.
pls tell which is easier to maintain.

I've used two totota's and a babyboy and I bet you that Toyotas are the best when it comes to durability and cost of maintenance. Bullet is OK, Mazda will rip your pocket off with its transmission wahala except you buy manual which is far better off than auto trans.

In conclusion, I will advice you to buy Camry. My experience with it shows that it's a problem free vehicle as long as you do regular maintenance. Its parts are cheap and always available, has a good fuel economy.

ill say , GO FOR THE CAMRY AND SAVE UR LIFE, toyota cars are durable (not all tho)but camrys are very reliable especially the 1996(orobo) the cost of maintenance is ok,fuel comsumption too is fair.

im expecting a mazda 626 1998(manual),nissan maxima 99 and nissan altima in 2 weeks time.
im not too sure but i think the mazda 626 has better fuel economy and its drives smooth but the cost of maintenance is high coupled with the fact that these cars comes with tranmission that is not reliable(i think the transmission of 98-2001 626 were made by ford),i have used and sold a 2001 626 and the gas mileage is very good but the transmission problems spoils it all,if you can stick with the manual transmission u will realy appreciate mazda.

i dont know much about the bullet,i leanrt its a reliable car too,honestly ill strongly advice u stay with the camry or the bullet.

Try not to be too hard on the transmission. i read a review on the net and someone suggested that a transmission coolant be added to the transmission oil(i have no idea what that is) but its good to ask your mechanic about it.
  mazdas are reliable and very good on gas but they cant  take much abuse so always do the oil change regularly.

always drive carefuly and  remember to use your seatbelt at all times(that little rope saves lifes).
