Lagos – The Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) on Tuesday said a Nigerian Open qualification would hold between April 2 and April 4. NTTF’s Secretary-General, Chinedu Ezealah-Ogundare, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the qualification was to select more players that would participate in the forthcoming Nigeria Open. “Our top four players will not be participating in the qualifiers. They have merit slots. “The qualification is to select more players to join our top players in making up the number of entries allocated to us. “There are three categories involved in the competition and ideally, each country can have 12 entries in each category. “We have the men and women, U-21 boys and girls and the doubles. “In past editions, we have always pleaded with the International Table Tennis Federation to increase our number of entries. 1 Share
