Net February 2016 FAAC allocation to Osun State stood at a paltry N6.2m after loan and sundry deductions at source.

The way things are going, with increasing interest and principal repayments from loans and bonds, Osun State will record zero allocation from federation account sometime in 2016. Essentially, Osun State technically bankrupt.

I understand the Governor has started running seminars on how civil servants should survive without salary.

This goes a long way to tell you that some of our governors are bad managers. Arẹ́gbẹ́ can jump up and down in any campaign but he sincerely lack the craft of governance.

He knw the allocation is now reduced but he's prioritising nonsense, he went ahead and create new local government, he renamed all higher institutions.

Basically chasing shadows rather than getting down sound economic policies.

He also changed the name of the state from "Osun State" to "State of Osun". I am still struggling to understand how this sophistry improved the lot of suffering and poor Osun people.

Forcibly confiscated mission schools. Wasted billions in importing "Opon-Imo" (electronic tablets) for primary schools, when the State, Poly and COE and University teacher are owed months of salary arrears.

So many useless policies especially during his first term in office;

1. He wasted billions on useless 'Opon Imo'.

2. Keep wasting millions each day in feeding primarry schools pulpils.

3. Imaging giving free school uniforms to every state government school student and the establishment of Omoluabi garment factory all with billions of naira.

4. Imaging a state that cannot boast of one billion naira internally generates revenue embacking on multiple unfinished roads and bridges projects.

5. There was a time the man allocated huge amount of money for the construction of useless tallest drum and towers accross the state.

6. Imaging a government who wasted billions in construction of joint schools instead of renovating/added few moderate structures to existing ones.

7. What about unneccessary sponsoring of party menbers called students to oversee studies.

8. Imaging a government that started paying 20000 workers/party loyalists (though stipend) with little or no economic benefit to the state.

This man has finished his state. How can a government borrowed that much without thinking of other sources of income apart from federal allocation?

Buhari should declare 'a state of imagency' in this state before this mess get out of hands.
