@Siena, I can relate totally with your situation, I got beat so bad I can't not even begin to explain. I get beat with water hose, head slammed against the wall, punches, koboko, up till today I still have the marks all over my back of the beatings I got from my "dad".
I remember those nights when NEPA has taken light and all you hear is my scream for help but the neighbors just pretend like they can't hear me.
When I was in SS1 i got beat so bad I had to run away, I was really comtemplating killing myself but didn't have the guts too. I lived with my aunt temporarily then I was forced to go back home, quote from an elderly uncle "beating doesn't kill a kid", The beatings stopped for a month or so then it resumed, then at the age of 17 I ran away again and never went back.
For 13yrs I didn't talk to my dad but I forgave during ministration service couple of year ago.

Considering buying a bungalow in prime area of Ibadan asking price N14m seen pictures and all but the place needs some renovation which will be an additional cost not sure exactly how much yet?

I also got a suggestion to buy a plot of land and build from scratch that it will cost much less in the same area. I was told can get a plot of land (N1.5-3m range) that putting up construction of the same structure won't cost as much. Problem** don't live in naija, not sure of any reliable construction company that can handle it and also provide warranty for their work after they are done.

If you were in my shoes what would you do? Buy the ready property or go through the uncertainty of building ?

My man, there is nothing much you can do now. The pregnancy is already too far along, just be a responsible FATHER to your child. A child will be complicating her life too she has more of it to deal with don't be selfish.

Next time if you know you are not ready for a child, don't think with your prick but with your head, use a condom and give her a morning after pill if you are not so sure of d condom.
