7 DIVISION GARRISON INTERCEPTED SUICIDE BOMBERS

The ever alert and vigilant troops of 7 Division Garrison based in Maiduguri, in conjunction with Civilian JTF averted yet another suicide attack on the innocent citizens in Borno State today.

The troops intercepted 2 female suicide bombers at about 1.20am this morning, almost 100 metres south of Umurari village, outskirts of Maiduguri.

However, one of the suicide bombers on sighting own troops detonated her explosive device, killing herself instantly, while the second bomber in an attempt to escape was gunned down by one of the Garrison snipers.

The combined team of Nigeria Police and Nigerian Army’s Explosive Ordinance Device team safely detonated the unexploded Improvised Explosive Devices strapped on the gunned down suicide bomber.

It is important to state that there was no casualty beyond the two suicide bombers. Presently, the troops and the Civilian JTF deployed in the village are now combing the general area to forestall further breach of security.

The situation in the area is calm and law abiding citizens are going about their normal activities without fear.

Horrific.
Will terrorism and suicide bombing ever end in the North?
When this disturbance began about 7 years ago, no one thought this type of horrible things we get to see in the news in other countries will soon become a way of life around us.
Now we see mangled corpses everyday...we are no longer shocked or repulsed.
The certainty that a lot more innocent people are bound to become victims halfway through the year is disturbing.

When the wailing zombies say there is vacancy in ASO Rock in 2019, I laugh at their naivety and self deceit.

Generally, it's agreed that PMB is doing well in fighting terrorism and corruption/graft. The only area he needs to convince us is the economy. And common sense should tell them that once he's able to secure the nation and reduce corruption, his attention will be more directed at reviving the economy.

The bad news is that the state of the economy is not good. The good news is that there is now an approved budget to work with AND THE MAN STILL HAS THREE YEARS AND TWO MONTHS TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMY.

It amounts to pure idiocy and stupidity for the wailing zombies to think Nigeria will return PDP after just four years in opposition. That remote possibility will be killed the moment Dasuki, Badeh, Amosun, Haliru Bello, Bafarawa and co are finally jailed or they enter into plea bargain to return our stollen common wealth.

The funny thing is that the so called budget disparencies was noticed because the status quo of pass and endorse of budget without screening era is over. Yet we are complaining. We are truly our own enemies.
