Anyone wanna place a bet that the BH grand supremo Ali Modu is going to continue as chairman past the May deadline being touted?

PDP is cash strapped & needs a financier, BH Ali is thirsty for political relevance & his money is long.. it's a match made in BH hell... smiley

These people have no shame? Or The voters have no brain?
I'm speechless at the number of nigerians who should be in jail who are actually in govt leading, and even making laws for the nation

I see this man in that office longer than is expected. He has the political clout to revive the ebbing fortunes of the PDP. It is cheery to see everyone on the same political page. PDP really has something up its sleeves as 2019 draws nearer.
May be he might have a political will in SS and SE. Ali Modu was defeated in the last senatorial election he contested for in 2015.No one wants to associate himself with the man even in his home state. If you have visited the North before you will know having SAS as he was popularly known in Maiduguri as a Chairman of PDP is like bringing the memory of Boko Haram alive in the days of the late founder Yusufu.

He lost the senatorial contest because of the sweeping gale of 'Change' that blew across the North. His alleged dalliance with Boko Haram is merely conjectural. No one has really substantiated that claim with an incontrovertible proof. He was in the APC for sometime and this allegation was dismissed. Trying to hang him by the neck with the same allegation because of his switch of allegiance is simply disingenuous.

Go to North and verify the popularity of SAS. Then you can compare that with Kwankwaso not to talk of Buhari

I know his popularity pales in comparison with the two. But he is by no means a political lightweight in the North. He is one of the few Northern members of the party who can effect genuine reconciliation in the party. And this has begun to bear fruits as witnessed by the flurry of activities taking place at the party's Secretariat. The party's popularity has severely plummeted in the North, only a man like SAS who speaks the language of the Northern electorate can get the job done. Besides, he is not gunning for the presidency. His popularity along with that of the presidential candidate should clinch the Northern votes.

He should have spoken the language of the Northern electorate to win his senatorial seat back in 2015.Comparing the popularity of SAS with that of Kwankwaso and PMB in the North is like comparing the popularity of Fasola with Obanikoro in the South.I once stayed in the North for 8yrs. I know the terrains of Northern states more than the ones you read on line.Modu Sheriff popularity ends in his Dikwa constituency not to talk of the whole Borno state.

Let me further tell you what you don't know about SAS and PMB. During the 1999 election,in Borno state,PDP won the govship election.Fast forward to 2003,ANPP won the sitting gov in the govship election through the help of PMB,because of his acceptance and popularity in the North, that was when Ali Modu rode on popularity of PMB to defeat the incumbent PDP gov then.I was in maiduguri on one occasion when PMB came to campaign for SAS on the said occasion. Then maiduguri was a home you will love to stay.No Boko haram insurgency.I still still keep contact of many of my Borno friends till today.Mentioning SAS name among his Kanuri offspring could even land you in molestation because of the perceived harms he did to them talk less of mentioning his name in the Kano or Kaduna.

SMH to people who still believe that SAS can help them in the north. SAS can only be biafran heroes but not to the people of borno, talkless of the north in general

Don't mind them. They only rely on information they hear from Olisa Metuh and perhaps their adopted hero from Ekiti state, the ponmo cutter gov.
