Hi every one am Emmanuel, a 300L student of uniuyo. The reason for this thread is to guard all the fresh jambites who scored 180 and above in the just concluded UTME (jamb). This thread will avail u the opportunity to ask any question relating to you course of choice and chances. I will try as much as i can to give a satifactory answer to any of your questions here . Also people who scored below 180 and are intrested for diploma are also welcomed, as i will try and shed light on it if need be . i welcome everybody . Before we proceed every one is free to share his/her jamb score here.

We also have a whatapp group for Uniuyo aspirant mainly for informtion and update.

Am here to return the favour that was shown to me 3yrs ago in this same furum. That was when i was still a jambite, it unforturnte, that thread isn't functional any more. However this thread will serve a long term purpose, ranging from proving u information till u register your post utme((apptitude test), accommodation for the apptitude ( for people who does't have), imformtion relating to admission list, (both first and supplimentary), it will also relate information for payment of aceptance fee,school fees, and finally information relating to hostle accomodation and perhalps off-camp accomodation. I promise to be up and doing with information here. Though we are still writing examination for now .

Less i forget i will also give out information on some schoolarship promgrames which are open for year one, some of my friends are beneficiaries. Though that will be much later after you must have gotten admision

Lets keep it coming as more people will be joining us, lets share our jamb score and perharps our course of choice. One of my sister's that is vying for Anatomy scored 238.

Tah uniuyo admission is purely on catchment and long legs. Especially for the competitive courses though.

yeah thats why i said catchment. Delta state is in uniuyo's catchment. Ever seen a yoruba or hausa student @uniuyo?

nope i'm actually complacent with my most preferred choice of institution lest when i change my preferred from Aksu to Lasu, jamb might mistakenly place it as most preferred institution.
Their errors this year are too grievious. So let me just let it be.

Pls don't mislead people here, uniuyo gives admision purely on merit. Do u kn am from imo state? So how does imo state fall to there so called catchment area? Come to think of it, the post ume score that gave me admision in uniuyo was the lowest of my score, over the period of three years i sought for admision in other schools.

Uniuyo, just like some other federal unis comprises of students from diverse tribes, nierther yoruba nor hausa people are lacking.

Just beat their cut off and see your self at convoc park for regisration.

One of my lecturer told me of how his daughter couldn't get admision because she didn't beat the cut off. Remeber the lecturer is a senior lecturer yet his daughter is still a home trying jamb. So what sort of long led are u talking about here?

The university of uyo hereby invites candidates who made the university their 1st choice in the 2016/2017 Unified Tertiary matriculation examination and had a minimum score of 180 to apply for screening. The schedule for the screening exercise is as follows

Day 1 5th July 2016 Engineering (1)

Day 2 6th July 2016 Engineering (2)

Day 3 9th July 2016. Law/Agriculture/Engineering (3) - Food & Agriculture engineering

Day 4 11th July 2016. Education

Day 5. 12th July 2016. Pharmacy/ Education (2)- social studies eduction.

Day 6. 13 July 2016 Environmental studies/Basic Medical science

Day 7 14th July 2016. Social sciences

Day 8 15th July 2016. Arts


Day 9. 16th July 2016. Science/Arts(2)- History & Philosophy

Day 10. 18th July 2016. Business Admin(1)- acct & busines management (1)

Day 11 19th July 2016. Business admin. (2)- Banking & Finance , insurance , marketing, business management (2)/ clinical science

Eligible candidate should pay #2000 via remits platform.

Candidate are required to come for the screening exercise with the following items:

1. Four copies of the uniuyo 2016 online registration form duly completed with the photography printed in colour.

2. Four copies of 2016 jamb result print out

3. Four recent passport size photograph on red background with the name , UTME reg number and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photography.

Because I'm still wondering why my brother was denied admission there last year, even after a good score. I just feel that school is being partial with their admission distribution.
