I will recommend VB.Net or C#.

The programming environment for VB.Net or C# can help you to develop from beginner to advanced if you show seriousness.

When learning a programming language, try to know one language first before engaging yourself with another language.

As a beginner, try to avoid learning two programming languages at the same time. You may become confused.
