 If you don't know zoo politics. Saraki is more PDP than APC. He 'joined' APC to retain his seat but APC knows it was just a legal trick. He has put Ekweremadu as Dep. because he knows APC will come after him and if they're successful (which they won't be), PDP will retain control of the house until another election cycle. Meanwhile the more Tinubu (Buhari is a non factor) fights him, the less possible it will be for Buhari to pass bills.  Anyone who doesn't know Saraki is more powerful than Buhari, talkless of Tinubu in Nigeria is lost. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The law is very clear on this issue.If saraki resigns as senate President, Ekweremadu will remain as deputy senate President.For ekweremadu to become senate President, he will have to resign as deputy senate president and then contest for the senate presidency. 10 Likes |
