It is now a regular thing for Policemen in Warri to pick up any young man or teenager for just no reason and arrest the person. The situation is so worst that one is afraid to go out. Just recently I witnessed a scenario where a teenage boy who was waiting to board a keke at Estate roundabout was picked up for no just reason, the innocent boy asked the policemen what was his offense and they descend on him beating him up and placing a handcuff on him. Another scenario I witness was about tattoo, just because they saw tattoo on a man's hand they arrested him. We are living in a free world but certainly not in Warri. Policemen have turned warri into a business ground by arresting innocent citizens all in the name of making money from bail. They have abandoned their duties protecting lives and properties but invading people's privacy by checking their phones and wallets. How can a policeman place you on arrest but take you to an ATM Machine to withdraw money for bail by without taking you to the police station to tell you your offense? Federal Government should please do something about this before things get beyond control. I see a serious crisis coming between Warri Youth and Nigeria police.

My dear the situation is really bad that i wonder what has Nigeria turn into. Two days ago my friend's younger brother (around 17years) was escorting his wife to an ATM. Some group of policemen using Passat or keke just stopped and asked the innocent boy to get in for no just reason not minding the words of my friend's wife who was telling them he is her brother and they threaten to arrest her too. Her husband had to called someone in Warri Navy Base who went there to release the innocent boy without paying a dine. That's how useless Policemen in Warri have turned into.

Op, don't mind those foolish goats. They almost arrest me when i was buying bole and fried fish along Deco road. Thank God they didn't get me.

Warri people allowed it they are scared of going to court, imagine police police arresting people that are eating in a restaurant and the owner of the restaurant restaurant to follow the case up.
Warri people do not want to go to court hence the constant harassment by the police

Tempted to starts talking about the ills of the Nigerian Police but then there is a relationship between their behavior and the culture of the general Nigerian society which in summary is abduction and or extortion then deception.
