FACE OFF: TIWA SAVAGE VS SEYI SHAY | WHO IS A BETTER ARTISTE?

Beautiful, talented and popular singers, these two women are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the Nigerian music industry.

Both have foreign background. Both can be linked to international acts. Both have mellifluous voice and on several occasions, both have been compared. Before I ask the question, here’s a little comparison of mine between Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay.

When it comes to vocal ability, they both have sultry voice but I would go for Seyi just because I think her voice is a little more lucid.

When it comes to celebrity status and star power, we all know this one- it’s Tiwa hands-down!

When it comes to choreography and stage performance, I believe Seyi totally wins- she’s more fit, more flexible and moves well on stage (remember her ‘irawo’ video? that girl can dance!) Tiwa, on the other hand, I think is a bit sluggish and would struggle with high routine dance steps.

When it comes to their individual fashion and style, I would pick Tiwa, she’s generally more refine and put-together.

Who’s prettier? well, I’m not sure …maybe ‘Ti-Sey’- that’s Tiwa and Seyi at the same time! *haha*

why do I think that's a polite insult..?obviously Tiwa is a boss lady nah..seyi shay's also good(nice voice)but tiwa rocks better anyday anytime!!(my opinion)

Then again, is their evolution, I admire Seyi’s evolution, she has turned out to be a more mature singer (check out her latest videos and concepts) Her personality has evolved to be more classy and sophisticated with a very cool edge. Tiwa’s evolution? not too sure, when she surfaced on the scene back in 2010 with her hit single ‘Kele kele love’, she was so sleek and sophisticated- like a black barbie doll, people would gush about her. She was the perfect African version of Beyonce, but nowadays, she has gone on to become (just) basic with a lot of ghetto and highly predictable concepts.

However the case, both women represent our entertainment industry well.

Apparently.... None.

They are both wack
